What to Expect

We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want you to know that you can relax at Utica. We are a church filled with imperfect people trying to navigate through life centered on Jesus. Each of our services includes straightforward, practical teaching in which the Bible is taught and Jesus Christ is emphasized. You will be encouraged to find many others seeking to know God better, just like you!

What should I wear?

First, we care more that you come than what you wear when you come! As for our congregation, we have a range of clothing choices among our regular attenders. Some wear their “Sunday best” while most prefer business casual.

When are services?

We start our Sunday School at 9:00 am, and our Morning Service at 10:00 am. We also have a mid-week service on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.

What is a service like?

We are a church, focused on the Bible and prayer as the means of spiritual growth. Each service you can expect to hear messages from God’s Word, and engage in worship through uplifting God honoring music.

Should I Come?

We certainly hope you do! If you do, you can expect to be greeted at the door with a friendly smile.

Where do my children go?

We believe that our kids are not just the future of our church but an active part of it, and at Utica, we make kids a priority. Please take a moment and see our page concerning our Children’s Ministry.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

No! The offering is designed for the members of the church to support the ministry of the church. We simply want you to feel welcome and enjoy your time with us.
